Prevention of Violence Against Women and Children
5000+ women received basic awareness on health, nutrition, immunization and basic health services, gender-based violence through awareness campaigns and provided psycho, social, and counselling support to 500+ women.
500+ men and boys were sensitized for sharing household responsibilities and ensuring girl child education.
Prevented 150+ Child Marriages in geographical area. Provided immediate, psycho-social, legal and counselling support to 384+ survivors of gender-based violence, including domestic and sexual violence.
172 survivors received educational and livelihood support to help them rebuild their lives. Women issues from NT/DNT communities were incorporated in the Govt. of Maharashtra’s state women policy in the years 2013 and 2021.
In the single women policy of the government of Maharashtra, the issues of single women from NT/DNT communities were incorporated by the Ministry of Women and Child Development Department of Maharashtra state.

38 Women have secure job opportunities in companies as chauffeurs. The companies that they got placed are - Lithium Urban Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Shree Shivanjali Travel Solution Pvt. Ltd., KTC, SDK, ECRS, Self Businesses.
EMPLOYABILITY AND LIVELIHOOD
A. SMART Vocational Training Center
- SMART (Skills for Market Training) initiated an employability program tailored for urban youth aged 18 to 30, aimed at enhancing their employability and addressing the skill gap prevalent in the service sector.
- 3500+ youths trained on SMART course; 75% of youths (65% girls) received employment opportunities. - Through the employer engagement program, we contacted 290 companies for students’ placements and 2640 (75.42%) students were placed in 110 + companies with an average salary of Rs.13800. - 100+ youths & women trained on business ideas & linkages later started small businesses. B. Building livelihood resilience among NT-DNT communities. - Distributed 200 Kitchen Garden kits and provided comprehensive training to all recipients, empowering them with essential gardening skills. - 182 families have successfully established kitchen gardens, with 114 families reporting a 10% increase in their income.
SAFE MIGRATION AND WORKERS' PROTECTION
NIRMAN reached out to 329,778 individuals.
Assisted in the creation of 45,762 supporting documents such as Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, bank accounts, birth and caste certificates, income certificates, ABHA cards, and marriage certificates.
Submitted 84,080 applications for various social security schemes.
Successfully delivered 1,32,023 approved schemes to beneficiaries. The monetary valuation to the approved schemes is 59,12,47,085.
Identified 381 cases of unpaid wages and recovered ₹38,93,880 for affected workers. Organized health camps for 11,051 beneficiaries and facilitated COVID-19 vaccinations for 8,230 workers during the pandemic.
Trained 210 community volunteers to support these efforts. Freed 776 labourers from forced labour and bonded labourers.
HEALTH
Through the Sarthi Support Center, Nirman facilitated 5302+ outpatient registrations for general health check-ups, offering recovery rooms, referrals, and emergency treatments.
In our commitment to eye health, 4,092+ registrations have been made for Vision Care.
7915+ registered for Basic Health Care facility at Sarthi Support Centre.
A total of 4 Health Camps has been conducted at the Sarthi Support Centre and 392+ patients have benefited from these camps. These camps offered a range of medical services, including ENT, skin, orthopaedic, dental, ophthalmic, and general health care.
772+ people have been provided with Social Entitlement Schemes.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE & COVID RELIEF SUPPORT
50000 + individuals received Covid relief support, dry ration kits support and other services during the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
